Hmm, totally slipped past me. I'll extend the deadline on this. There's been no voting at all so far
Actually, I think I have to pull the plug on this particular competition. There's only a handful of people who really participated. A vote wouldn't even make sense considering there's less than 10 photos in the competition.
I'm very sorry, but this competition just wasn't publicised well enough to get any traction.

Can I make a suggestion.
There were 39 entries and only 5 got the gong. Instead of pulling the competition why not let the voting go ahead but with all 39 entries and then extend the final date for the voting.

I don't really think it's ok to feature entries that aren't feature-worthy. Instead, I think it's better for the photo moderators to just pick the top ones out of these and they can be entered into the end of year competition. Which reminds me I need to do something about organising that too.. sigh.

I don't think it's very easy to find information about the photo competitions. If you aren't looking specifically for them, you wouldn't really know there was a competition. Maybe they could be more visible to catch people's attention like they used to be in the past. Just thinking.
I always seem to miss the info on these, would be great if they were more publicized.
Well yes, the intention was certainly for this to be more visible. Usually they are mentioned in the newsletter (definitely subscribe if you want updates on these) and in an ad that runs on the site.
Have I missed an email again or hasn't the voting for the final competition started yet.
