I am planing a trip to Burma, but I don't really know anything about it. I have already been to Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Indonesia. So it's the one place I haven't seen yet. Does anyone have any advice on what kind of place it is or previous experience being there? How does it compare to the rest of SE asia?
That's a very sweeping, general question that can be easily Googled. Might be easier to do a little preliminary research then come back with more specific queries.
I was there last winter and it's definitely a unique place. Have fun.

Myanmar is a wonderful country.
I just got back recently and I recommend you to not miss going to Bagan.
