When you see such a post, since you're a "Respected Member", you can also just click the little "Report" link in its top right corner, and mark it either as "Duplicate" (for cases like this where it's copy/pasted content from another website) or "Promotional" (when it's outright advertising). That'll hide it from view, and flag it very visibly for attention by the moderators for the forum it's in.
