Where to go in Sydney depends entirely on your interests. Some of my personal favorite things to do are taking a ferry across the harbour (to anywhere really, although Taronga Zoo and Manly are my most frequent destinations), wandering the Botanic Gardens, exploring all the second hand bookstores and delicious bakeries along Glebe Point Road, and spending a few hours wandering the twisting pathways of the Chinese Garden of Friendship in Darling Harbour. I also quite like the coastal walk between Coogee and Bondi, and find the general area of the Rocks and Circular Quay to always be great for photography.
