Venice to Croatia

Hello

Hey,

I am happy that you picked Croatia as your destination becauase it is a beautiful country. The ferry from Venice to Poreč would cost around 60 euro in 1 direction or around 120 euro in both directions. It would be a lot cheaper if you take the bus, but it is a little bit more complicated as well. You can take a bus from Venice to Pula, 1 direction around 22 euro and both directions around 40 euro and then take a bus from Pula to Poreč, it should not cost more than 10 euro in 1 direction. The region of Istria has many beautiful cities, but must see places, besides Poreč, are Rovinj and Pula. If you have enough time you should visit Umag as well. I am not quite sure if you can go to Plitivice without joining an excursion, you should ask that at the bus station because I could not find anything on the internet. If you have time there are also beautiful cities and islands more to the south, in the region of Dalmatia. Zadar, Šibenik, Primošten and the islands of Hvar or Brač are must see places. I hope i helped a bit and have a nice stay in Croatia.

Ivan from Croatia
