We are travelling for 15 days in Sri Lanka in November, commencing on 14th.
We have a rough itinerary and most places to stay identified,via the Lonely Planet guide etc, but need a reliable, honest, knowledgeable and reasonably priced, taxi driver to help us get around.
If anyone reads this perhaps you will get in touch and we can share our itinerary and see which bits, if not all, you could help us with.
Or alternatively, if anyone has the name and contact details of a good driver, that they have used in the past, perhaps you will share there details with us.
You shouldn't have any problems finding a driver. I paid about $60 per day for a car and driver to take me on a route similar to yours in 2012. See this link:

I got my excellent driver through the guest house where I was staying. I generally have found that you can get a driver and car for around $50 to $80 per day in Asia.
Sorry I don't have time to contact my driver to see if he is interested. I'm on my way to West Africa.
