Hi!
I am from the US and I am looking for cheap travel insurance. It doesn't have to cover alot, but the company I am traveling with requires it. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
There are many travel insurance companies. Most take your age and the amount you are covering to come up with the premium. I would be cautious of "Cheap" travel insurance. You want to make sure the coverages are adequate to cover the cost of the trip, and look at the medical reimbursements, how much they reimburse for lost luggage, a trip delay etc. You can do cost comparisons between companies and their plans at -snip- I am surprised the company you booked with didn't offer you travel insurance.
I am using IMG patriot insurance but have used Gallagher in the past. I don't think either is particularly cheap but when it comes to the potential cost of emergency travel care, who cares? Just add it to your holiday expenses
Hey there -
I've been in your shoes before and used -snip- to find a basic policy to meet the requirements. As long as you're just getting it to fulfill a requirement and not for actual protection.
Of course the wisdom is that you should absolutely have travel insurance. Like I said, though... I've been there!
-snip-
Hope that helps!
I just did a bunch of research on insurance... the mods will probably snip it
Yeah, with your blogpost containing affiliate links to travel insurance companies, disguised as first-party links, that's quite likely to happen...
