20 days - Europe - July. Help with places/itinerary.

Hello.

The train from Münich takes about 7-8 hours, if you take the day train. You could also take a night train, which takes 12 hours, but that saves on a hostel/hotel. The plane would be quite a bit faster, though usually travelling by train is quite nice (in my opinion, that is, haha)
Plane will save you time (even more if you only bring hand luggage)

If you're in Amsterdam, I could recommend also going to a city like Leiden (30 mins. by train) or The Hague (40-50 mins. by train). Both are quite qorth a visit. A little less touristy, a bit smaller and also shows some typical Dutch sights, as the canals and such.
And if you're in Munich, I could recommend going to Neuschwanstein Castle. You could probably arrange a bus tour to the castle. Also nice to walk in the area surrounding the castle

Thanks a lot for those tips!

I asked about the train trip because, for example, from London to Paris, there isn't much to see. Maybe there is from Munich to Amsterdan?

Still accepting more recommendations!

I much prefer Barcelona to Madrid, so if there´s any way you can fit that in, I would try to. Otherwise, there are a lot of great daytrips from Madrid-Toledo, Segovia (my personal favourite), Salamanca...so you could always do that while staying in Madrid.

Sounds like an awesome trip!

Ok guys, thanks for the replies.

Anything else you could suggest me to change?

Thx!
