RE:when can I re-enter Switzerland if I overstayed last time

I hold a Canadian passport. I entered schengen area in Mar 2 & left Switzerland in Jun 22. I was told by Swiss authority I overstayed. Will I have problem in entering Switzerland next time? When can I go back to Switzerland as I have relatives and I want to visit them? How do I caculate the 90-180 days restriction? Looking forward for advise. Many thanks!

You were lucky not to be penalised.

You wait until 90 days have elapsed from June 23rd and re-enter. You do not say if they have marked your passport or you were aware of marking an electronic record, if so you may be refused. Stay greater than 90 days a second time and you are asking for trouble.

Write to a Swiss embassy and ask them rather than risk maybe being turned back at the border.
