My wife and I are are going to be staying in Pompeii for two nights before our tour starts in Rome. We were wondering if anyone has any suggestions for hotels in Pompeii (we do want to stay here for convenience). Also after ancient Pompeii what other attractions would people recommend and how long/confusing is the trip from Pompeii to Rome. Thanks in advance we appreciate any advice since we are first timers overseas

lowcostholidays has some nice hotels at reasonable prices.
Rome is two to three hours away, depending on how heavy the traffic is.
