Glad to hear that you are also travelling near to my dates, I go Thailand end of Sep and will and plan for 3 weeks. I would love to go for Full moon party I have heard about a lot, but never been before hope this time I would make it. So let's plan tell me about your plans.
I wanted to go around beaches Phuket, Chiang Mai, Bkk.

October is not a good months for Thailand, I would seriously change destination, Thailand is a fabulous place but there's no point in going to a place if its the rainy season, especially if you want to do a bit of fishing.
i actually went to thailand october last year, the only day of rain was the 1st (heaviest rain iv ever seen) apart from that it was over 30 degrees everyday so ill keep those dates thanks.

Im heading to Bangkok on the last week of Sep and then traveling north to Chiang Mai and then to Vietnam, not sure if you guys are around then or are just planning a stay south of the country, but let me know - exciting..
