When are bandages too old to use in a first aid kit?

Hi guys

Hey,

They're generally sterlised if they're being used on an openly infected area to prevent cross contramination etc etc...if they're only being used for support they'll be fine, if you're using them on open wounds/broken skin I'd suggest getting some new ones just to be safe.

Hope that's help!
Scott

Hello friends,

They should have an expiration date on them, but if you need them for emergency purposes, it is better to use them then some unsterilised cloth. The bandages that I do not have an expiration date; I will however, put them aside and use them as any other unsterilized item.
