Dear Terry,
Im pleasure to share with you about your question. I have used visa service online for traveling aboard. it is ver simple and convinient so you can feel totally secure when using online service.
In addition, my sister is working for a company where providing Vietnam Visa Online. if you have any question, I am happy to share information with you.
Hope you that you will have a fun trip in Vietnam
Yes terry, It's authentic. i used these guys they were efficient.
BTW i loved the food at Al-sa'ad near kokers theatre. had a really great time in Kotchi, so different from the rest of India.
I've been in Hanoi 4 times now since 2008, and always use the VOA system - I can also tell you an excellent agent there who can get you the VOA letter, as well as any other services you might need (train tickets, cruises or just good advice). Contact Mr. Diep Tran the owner of - the most generous and competent agent that I know of in Vietnam.
I don't think you will find better or faster turnaround for VOA - I requested another one for my Nov 2012 trip about 24 hours ago, and received the Approval Letter this morning by email. All you need do is print out the letter, show it to your airline, and you're set to go. On arrival, you will need US$25. and 1 passport picture (single entry) at the airport.

Thanks to all of you guys...I have decided to take the online route to get my visa approval letter. I had a doubt on this as when I contacted the Vietnamese Embassy in N. Delhi, they advised it is not legal and it is better to come to N. Delhi and pick up the Visa.
Dodger, thanks for the nice words about my city, Cochin. Yes Cochin and Kerala in general is totally different from the rest of the country,- geographically, culturally and even temperamentally ..You seems to a photographer too and I went through your album and it is wonderful.
Thank you all once again
Terry
Terry,
Did you manage to get the visa approval letter finally? What all documents did you need?
I am traveling to Vietnam in September and need to apply for the approval letter.
Thanks
