I'm currently studying in Hong Kong and will go to mainland China for a mini holiday in a couple of weeks. Would like to do a meditation retreat in a temple, hopefully one that is possible to reach by train from HK (don't mind taking a night train/high speed, as long it doesn't take days!). Anyone know a place? Must be a english speaking one, unfortunately, and prefer for free (or quite cheap), not one of those luxury tourist places. Really regret not doing it when I was in Chiang Mai a couple of weeks ago, so hoping to find another chance!
how about the Hung Shing Temple, Kau Sai Chau, Sai Kung, which is quiet and convenient by metro or 96R bus.
