I am travelling on a WHV to aus in dec, wanting to do work for my 2nd year visa also. It is my first time travelling and have no idea what to take! I only ask so early because if i want any new summer stuff i will have to buy before the UK weather changes! (not that it has ever been anything like aus!)
Hiya helen! I havent been to oz yet but going there in Sept.. I spent a month travelling around Thailand and my only real piece of advice is to pack light! I found myself bringing 5 different pairs of shorts and only really wearing 3 of them and also dont take anything too expensive with you.. I bought a gorgeous pair of sandals to take with me and lost them on the beach in the first week haha, so pack light and cheap! and dont forget your toothbrush

yes. exactly. No need to buy the same things that you have in the home. Just take the Daily essentials & Beach related stuffs(Towels, Shorts,Sandals etc.) . Also remember to take all things off while changing the rooms/Hotels.....
