Organising thumbnails within a blog post

Hi,
I had added some thumbnails into my blog post. The site automatically placed these thumbnails next to each other, creating a grid of thumbnails.
When I added a caption to the thumbnails they are now shown below each other, making the blog post unnecessarily long.
Does anyone know how to get the thumbnails next to each other again?
Thanks! Elise

Hi,
Try this.
If you added the caption by clicking the caption icon, remove the photos from the blog. Re-insert the all the photos, without going back & forth between the blog & photos, & without clicking the icon.
Then type your caption after each photo.

It looks a little odd but might suit you.

Hi,

Sorry - It looked reasonable in pre-view, but still looks bad when it is published.

Thanks for trying!

I think TP should do something about the way thumbnails appear when you click on them. A big box with a small picture.

I tend to use the large, with some regular for variety. The thumbnails are too small for me to see it avoids clicking them all.

Botswana was good fun for me. Lots of animals.

Another option might be instead of putting the photos as the end of your blog, wrap your blog text around the photos & describe each photo as you go along.

This is an example of how I do that

Yeah, I'm afraid the captions and thumbnails don't really play well together. It does need to be tidied up at some stage - unfortunately for now the best is to avoid combining them if you want to have the thumbnails in a grid.

I tend to be a fan of having the full photos in the blog entry as it makes for a nice read with a minimum of clicking to expand - As well as Steve's example, here's

Thanks for all the replies guys! Seems I need to work without captions for now.
Apart from that I have experienced no real troubles with the site and am enjoying working on this blog. Thanks again!

Hello Elise,

As you are in Botswana, you might like to see this too about my time there.

Look forward to more on your blog.

Steve
