Staying at Gilligans for Atleast a week
Hi im stu I work in travel here in australia gilligans is great for a party. with work in the lower regions of australia will be coming into there summer so the working season will start to ramp up from noosa down.if you guys need help with anything or price questions feel free to let me know as im also a travel helper on here as well.

cairns is deffers an awesome place to start your trip! i used a short term rentals place when i stayed there, can get self contained units for around $300 a week, work wise what is your skills? i'm pretty up on the farm work side of things over here (been travelling aus since 2008 doing farm work to fund my way round).

I'm currently working in a mechanical environment and have previous labouring experience. Is it fault easy to obtain farm work? What is the pay like?

you should be in for a good chance of getting farm work if you have experience in maintaining machinery/welding etc pays around $20 an hour.. might not be super easy the first time you look for work over here as alot of employers here prefer people who already have aussie work experience (bit of a catch 22) but if you spruce the cv up abit you should be ok taw.com.au is a good site for work and also gumtree.com.au just use search term harvest or farmhand.

Sounds good I shall check those websites out will make sure my cv is up to scratch! How far out of the city is the farming work? I'm looking to work a fair bit to keep my money topped up
