Good places to stay in Rishikesh? And is there river rafting near there, or out of Srinagar, in October?

Tgere are various places to stay. Decide on ur budget, check out the rooms. Or use -snip- or -snip- etc to book in advance.
There are variety of rooms available according to your need. You can get cheaper rooms as well as luxury rooms too. But sorry for river rafting. Actually this the rainy season and river Ganges is full of heavy muddy water. So river rafting is closed for some period of time. And if you get raft anyhow please don't dare to do that because this is the peak time when the flow of water very high. Anyways enjoy rishikesh, learn some yoga n meditation there afterall it is the yoga capital of the world.
Rishikesh is a great place to visit, and the place offers river rafting but its monsoon so rivers are flooded thats the reason rafting is not done during this period.But still the place has great attractions you could explore the place and Rishikesh won't disappoint you.
Rishikesh is nice place to visit and you can get easily a comfortable stay there Hotels or Guest Houses and Rishikesh is good place for a rafting but it's a bad time for a Srinagar for a rafting or a travel.

Rishikesh offers numerous adventure sports to enjoy such as rafting, body surfing, cliff climbing/jumping, waterfall trekking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, beach games etc. There are many hotels to stay as your budget. The best season to enjoy the rafting in Rishikesh is between September and June.
