Hey, my name is Alex (I' m from Germany)
I'm planning to do a backpacking trip to the philippines and will be arriving in Manila on the 5th of August.
I wanted to stay on the philippines for about 6-8 weeks and wondered if anyone else here will be traveling there in the same time span. I gotta admit that I'm kind of nervous and therefore it would be pretty cool to find someone that i could meet up with and share my experiences with.
Filipinos are nice but be careful still

I suggest, try go to other cities/town, there are a lot better than manila. Well, manila is a fast paced, all building unlike other cities, there are very nice beaches, tourist spots. I live in Davao City, google it
Try Palawan, cebu, surigao and a lot more
