Going to uk

Denied access to uk few days ago was detained in customs for 24 hours then sent home to canada on next flight out...red flag now on passport.
My fiancé lives in uk now...what are my options ?

Any advice is welcomed

Options? Why don't you start by explaining why you were denied entry.

Cheers,
Terry

Denied access because I didn't go through proper channels, my stupidity.
Didn't have return ticket.
Didn't believe I was seeking entry as visitor for limited time period stated.
They stated I cut ties with Canada.
I am not a genuine visitor

There are no "proper channels" for a Canadian to visit the UK for 6 months or less. You simply show up in an honest and presentable manner and the door is thrown wide open with no Visa required.

I assume you lied and tried to enter illegally with the intent of staying permanently with your fiance. In that case you're screwed. No Immigration official anywhere looks kindly upon foreigners who try to illegally sneak into their country.

You have no choice but to apply for the proper Visa and see what happens. Don't hold your breath though... the computer never forgets and what you tried to do is a huge red flag on your file. I don't know what it will take to get that reversed. There are UK Consulates in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary... start a dialogue with the one closest to you.

Good luck.

Cheers,
Terry

Actually I did not lie, my fiancé enter through his customs, I went through non resident customs.
I was asked how long I stated on declaration 2 months, I was asked where I was staying I said with my boyfriends mother, I gave him address but didn't have home number, all the while fiancé was standing slightly outside waiting, when I flagged him over to ask him for moms number, customs said oh is this your boyfriend as to which I stated yes, he stated no I'm her fiancé, custom guy said so he's your fiancé, you said boyfriend, I just told him I find it easier to say boyfriend then fiancé.
From that point on the ? Started ...when ....where...etc you getting married, we pointed out yes we were engaged but no plans at this time we would be getting married, could be England it could be canada!!

So what you are saying is my visa might also be denied.?

And your fiance lives in UK. You should have at least booked your Return tickets just for showing up to the authorities and later cancelled that. A minor mistake turned out to be a red flag issue for you.

Yes I know, wish I knew then what I know now.
Something so simple turned out to be a disaster.
Recourse.....Don't know!!
