new ESTA/Visa from Mexico

hello

As usual with almost all Visa questions on this forum you fail to post the single most important piece of information: What's your nationality.

That said, under the Visa Waiver Program time spent in Canada, Mexico, and adjacent islands usually counts towards the maximum of 90 days stay allowed under the program. In other words the 90 days doesn't reset just because you went to Mexico.

Cheers,
Terry

nationality is German

I read that I dont need to have an ESTA when I cross the border to the US by land. What kind of visa will I receive when I cross the border?

I'm no expert, but I think all you have to do is fill out Form I-94 at a land crossing.

I'm sure you've read this: http://germany.usembassy.gov/visa/vwp/

Good luck with your research.

Cheers,
Terry

that's sound good, If I only need the I-94 form.

however, I am not sure, if they will say that, I am over the 90 days limit and cant re-enter.
