Just wondering if anybody knows an easy and relatively cheap way to get from Anaheim (staying right next to Disneyland) to West Hollywood (staying Sunset Boulevard) on a Saturday?
One of the cheaper ways is probably to get an airport shuttle that goes to the Burbank Airport, then get on the LA subway system from there and take it south down to Sunset Boulevard.
Cheaper is the metro (blue) line, but this will take you many hours, and require at least three transfers.

Sorry, but LA is the worst city for traffic in the US. The metropolitan area is over 50 miles across (north to south) and about 20 miles across (west to east). The greater metro area actually stretches over 80 miles west to east. You can drive this and never be out of sight of housing tracks that just stretch on and on. I lived in this city for over 30 years and now avoid going there more than once every 4 years (and only do this because I feel obliged to visit my one sister occasionally), who has an apartment right on the beach near Huntington Beach. It can be a fun city, but living in LA without a car is like living on the moon without an oxygen supply--it simply can't be done.
Thanks for that! I was wondering what we had got ourselves in to.
Might hire a car for our 2 days in Anaheim (at least the parking is free in our hotel) & drop at Burbank Airport then just get the subway to our hotel in West Hollywood then shuttle back to LAX when we leave.
Not sure if this is even a good idea =)
Thanks again for your help!
