Holy cow, I think that's the most ambitious road trip ever posted.
How long are you planning to be travelling? How are you handling transport?

I plan to be on the road for about 2 months! Could be more or could be less. I'm still debating on either taking my car or not. Still not sure about that one but we'll see!
You might want to rethink your route and plans... as it stands you're averaging way over 200+ miles/325+ km per day... having that as your absolute minimum average distance to travel every single day for 2 months would quite simply be the road trip from hell... not to mention it would be impossible by any means except by private vehicle.
Very ambitious plans, but not doable logistically. Good luck with your research.

Thanks for your input. I see the point you have made. I have considered how long I'd be traveling per day. Plans are always subject to change, however, and I don't plan on being on the road every day. Which is why I've arranged enough time for myself if that does happen. But it's possible, in my opinion, until proven otherwise.

Anything is possible, but averaging 200+ miles/325+ km per day would be most people's definition of absolute torture. If an average of 5 hours per day inside a vehicle for 60 days straight is your idea of fun though then more power to you - but that's a pretty grim way to see/experience anything.
Hope you have a really, really nice vehicle and a strong bum!

Yeah I once did part of your route, 3000 miles in 3 weeks, doing national parks across the rockies, felt we spent too much time in the car. You're planning on 50% more driving than that.

When i said that I meant taking my car or another car because I wasn't sure if I wanted to put those miles on my car. Not that you would've known that or anything else about my plans but don't try to use my words against me and treat me like ignorant when you don't have the all the information. I posted this to see if anyone would be on the road or nearby at the same time as me. Not to have people criticize my plans, which aren't set in stone. While I really did appreciate your earlier advice, I don't appreciate being demeaned. It's annoying. Thanks anyways.
