Hey guys I'm going to Taiwan and China in 2 weeks from the US , I'm a little nervous because i have a arrest record for a drug felony that was dropped to a misdemeanor. I completed drug court and my case was dismissed so I was never convicted. The only conviction on my record is a minor traffic violation that I was never arrested for I just showed up in court and paid a fine.
The US does not share their "normal" criminal database with anyone except Canada, so no worries.
Have fun.
Cheers,
Terry
Ok i feel a little better, I know on the arrival card it doesn't ask about criminal records but would the immigration officer ask me? I'm traveling with my grandparents so they are a little nervous that I'll be denied.
The fingerprint scanners and camera is that just for there records?
Cheers,
Terry
