Hey does anyone have a carpooling website? Or something people use in europe to get free rides? Thanks
I know that mitfahrgelegenheit.de is pretty popular in Germany (searching for what that domain was exactly, I saw at least three competitors - do your own research to figure out their respective downsides, I've only vaguely heard of the existence of this from German friends). I don't know if other countries have similar sites. I'm not aware of such a thing existing in the Netherlands. (Which means that it probably does, but isn't mainstream, and so will have limited use. I figure a country needs a certain type of geography with clustered departure and arrival points, and long distances in between, for something like this to become popular.)
