Explore Jogja? Bali?

Hi hellokitty26.

Bali is predominantly beach-oriented and there are a lot of hotels that are all-inclusive for you and your toddler. Most of these hotels are in the Nusa Dua area, and some of them have their own private beaches. Going from point A to B in Bali (as it is in many other SEA countries) can be a hassle, especially with a toddler. Your best bet is to rent a car and not use public transport. There's a few waterboom (pools) you can go too as well for activity. Although I personally haven't gone, there is a marine park and a bird park in Bali you can also go to with your toddler.

With Yogya, the atmosphere is more of a traditional/cultural destinations. Same like Bali though, I also recommend you to rent a car to go places with your toddler (if I am not mistaken, the price is around 400thousand rupiahs per day with a driver). There are more museums and palaces you can go to. The zoo is nice to go to, beaches are also nice although a little father away than it is in Bali from the city center.

Just a side note, Indonesia isn't exactly a stroller-friendly place so it's advisable to have carriers if you plan to take your toddler around.

Hello Cnoezar,

thank you! thanks for the advice, appreciate it.

I think Bali might be a better option for me, am looking for a place to relax and wind down.
My tod would love the water activity areas.
Noted on the baby carrier, am surely bringing it along!

Hope you have some nice travel adventures soon
