I'm still waiting for the reply. My plan for moving to Mexico is fixed and it is on 28th December for 12 days, i.e. till 9th January 2016. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Hi, I give you some nice places I visited long ago in south of the country:
Teotihuacan, North of Mexico City
Oaxaca, Mitla & Monte Alban in Oaxaca state
San Cristobal de la Casa, canyon El Sumidero, Agua Azul waterfalls & Palenque in Chiapas
Uxmal, another important maya site in Yucatan (with Chichen Itza)
and to relax, the beaches and sites of Quintana Roo (Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Isla Mujeres...)
Have a look there:
what you list in post 1 is more than 12 days.
If you're going to Chichen Itza you might as well call in at Tulum.

Just loved your suggestions. I want to visit all the beautiful places in Mexico. My plan is to visit Gaudalajara and enjoy mariachi music and other cultural events.
