Anyone have advice on these south American countries.? E.g what to take and how to travel between them, what to see etc!? Thanks
Distances are great and the best way is flying, though that is fairly expensive and best booked months early.
It depends on what you want to see. Peru has most in for me: Lima, Cuzco, Machu Picchu, Nazca, Amazon, various tours available, particularly from Cuzco.
Travel fairly light and you can buy things along the way. Take some comfortable walking shoes.
If time isn't a factor the buses are fine and you certainly experience more of the country.
I also recommend Colca Canyon (Peru) and the Salar de Uyuni (Bolivia) !
