We are travelling to USA in August 2012 and was wondering if I should take my laptop so I can download my photos daily or buy a stack of SD cards! What do you all do?
I guess everyone has his/her on preference, but personally I prefer to travel light so I only take sd cards with me. Nowadays sd cards are so cheap and have such a large capacity that it´s usually not necessary to bring a harddrive along. I have a DSLR that uses a lot of space to save pictures but still so far my 32 GB sd card was always big enough for my needs. In my opinion the only reason to travel with my notebook would be if I wanted to upload my pictures on my blog while traveling.
