I'm 19 years old and want to travel hopefully from March 2013 by which time I'll be 20. I know I want to do Asia but at the moment I'm trying to compact ideas and would love any information you guys have to offer on the best, most comfortable and social routes that are affordable and safe as I will be travelling on my own - ofc if I can find someone interested in going around the same time and travelling the same route that would be fantastic

I am planning an overland trip from Oz to europe and I have visited some of the places you want to visit. So lets share any Ideas we find while researching.
I suggest lao and Vietnam in the mix.

Thanks Tony, which places have you visited? Do you know what route you want to do through Australia? A few of my friends have done the Southern Coast and have recommended it but with family or expensively whereas mine would be backpacking and as cheap as it can get!

I live in Australia and have only travelled to two other places on your list..... Malaysia and Singapore. Food and accommodation are
very affordable in Malaysia so perhaps that should be the last place you visit... lol. Tioman Island is beautiful and if you get the
chance you won't regret your visit there
When you come to Australia perhaps consider putting on your list, especially if you're into bushwalking. ] is the
island state of Australia, and although it may be colder than the rest of the continent I think you'll find it the most relaxing part
of your holiday (but then again, I may be biased... lol)
