I just replied in GT to a thread. I edited it and when I hit submit, it had been flagged as spam by ModBot? I released it as all my links are to the travel health area of the guide and Travel Gear forum.
According to , that should only be run for new members. Major ouch if it doesn't! Guess it would also be a good improvement for it to not just simply count links (which I guess must've been what happened for such a post by you to be caught), but to offset that against the total length of the post (i.e. 5+ links is totally fine is the total post is 1000+ characters).
For Peter's reference, the post in question was , right?

Heehee - a new member with now 13,848 posts. I thought it was probably a glitch in the system as I've been following the other thread but this caught me off guard. I didn't count characters - just added links where I thought appropriate for the OP.
And yes, that is the correct forum post.
I want to meet this ModBot as we need to have a talk...

Looks like also ran afoul of ModBot. Bad bot! No botsnack!
Hehe, naughty bot!
I released Mike's post in NA.
You're right, Bex. Naughty Bot.
Well yeah, that definitely shouldn't have been flagged. It's only meant to apply to new people posting and so far for the ones it's flagged like that, it's always been spam.
I found one possible explanation in my code, so fixed that problem. Let me know if it happens again. Really weird if it does though. Flagging is all wrapped in the logic of if postcount < x and that x is certainly well below 13,000 hahaha
Perfect the Bot's settings. Don't throw it out. It is needed.
I think the ModBot took extra precaution just in case you broke the forums, again.
I think Bot's just very keen because it's trying to create a good impression in its new job!
