Holland is a long way north. Just south of Switzerland is Italy and Milan. Then east to Verona, Padua and Venice. Then south to Bologna, Florence and west to Pisa and south east to Siena if you have time. Italy has many scenic little towns worth a visit.
Females you can pick up in the usual way, on trains and coaches, if they understand English.
