Hello to everyone! My wife and I are about to set out on a journey we have been waiting for ever since our month long stay in Costa Rica this past June. CR is where we want to eventually end up, but we have been preparing ourselves to travel around the world before we sink our feet in the sand along the Pacific Coast (unless we find somewhere along the way that grabs our attention). We are open minded to start our new life anywhere. We just want to get away from the rat race of the US. People knock us down about our decision but they have no idea what the world has to offer. Backpacking through Europe and Southeast Asia is our main goal before heading back to CR. I just love that we are about to have this freedom in our life to experience different cultures throughout the world. We know it will be hard but in the end it is all going to be worth it. Any advice on how to prepare yourself for travel and places to see off the beaten path would be much appreciated.
