Travelling to Australia alone for 1 month!

syearling91 has indicated that this thread is about Australia

Not sure what to tell you really. You will need to have a general idea of where you want to go or what interests you and how much you want to spend. For example you could fly to a bunch of places in a month or catch a bus (or a train). Do you want to see Ayers Rock? That will set you back some cash and possibly time if you decide to get there by road - but an excellent experience.

Australia is massive and different parts will show you different things. Considering you only have a month I guess the standard answer is pick one part and go from there. For example the West Coast from Perth to Darwin could take you a month. Or the East Coast although that can take a lot longer... Or start in a major city and go from there. As I said there are a lot of options.

Do some research, crack a Lonely Planet (or whatever guide you want to use) and go from there !

Thanks for the reply some interesting ideas!

The only real thoughts I have had up to now were to fly into Perth spend some time there and most probably use internal flights to get across to the east coast and visit some of the major cities there? Money isn't really too much of a problem as I haven't really budgeted at all!

But not sure how much time to spend in what areas and also what there is to see and do... I'm open to doing and seeing whatever I can and taking in as much as possible!

Thanks!
