So I recently decided that I really want to do Europe this summer, I live east coast canada and flights are pretty cheap to go overseas and as of right now i am considering doing it by myself, so any takers are willing to join! just wondering if anyone had suggestions of what to do , where to go, how to do it, and so on...
Have you bought any guide books or done any research yet? Almost every square millimetre of Europe is covered in incredible detail from countless sources...

That's a broad question. Consensus favorites I get from backpackers is Berlin, Prague, Budapest, mixed in with Barcelona and Amsterdam every now and then. Depends on how long you have? How much money? UK can be too expensive for small budgets. Are you going in winter or summer is the biggest one to me. Use the Internet to narrow down your search. Guidebooks are unnecessary.
Hey justincan, you'll probably need to add some more detail about what kinds of things you'd be interested in seeing. It's all very well for us to recommend the best places to see art nouveau architecture when you might in fact be more interested in going partying
The more detail on what you're trying to get out of the trip, the better your responses will be.
Seems like you may be trying to do things fairly cheap. If so, use Hostel World for accommodations, or if you need to go really cheap, try CouchSurfing. After you do it once, you'll be more comfortable with it, maybe even hooked.

There is a huge choice to make when travelling to Europe.. I think you have to consider first if you want to go to south or north.. I mean if it's summer pretty much everywhere is nice, but if you want to have summer weather(more than 25 degrees) you should definitely choose Portugal, Spain,South of France, Italy and Greece. Except from a perfect weather you can enjoy the sea and swim in many nice beaches.. I have traveled to Portugal,Spain and to Greek islands and would surely go once again.. Specially Greek islands are like heaven for me.
But it depends what kind of things you want to do..
