Hi there! I am planning a solo trip to Koh Phangan/Koh Samui in Thailand from 2nd of March - 7th March. I've never gone on a trip alone before so I am slightly nervous but I am very keen on doing that for the first time. This is a mini-break inbetween jobs & moving countries for me so I would love to have a great time. I'll probably want to spend more time on Koh Phangan and check out the half moon party ( don't think the Full Moon party will be happening around that time :/) About me: female, a working creative, very laid-back and all about having a good time!
I would suggest Koh Tao over Koh Samui. Samui to me lacked character and seemed too resorty; I left pretty quickly. Koh Tao on the other hand is quite charming. Stay in hostels and you'll meet people no problem.
