IRISH GIRL SEEKING TRAVEL COMPANION FROM AUSTRALIA TO ASIA

Hi, I'm an Irish girl currently living in Adelaide. I'm going back to Ireland from mid April to September and on my way home I'm planning on stopping off in Bali and India doing about 17-20 days in total. If anyone fancies joining me or has any advice on group tours etc, that would be of great help. I'm also quite flexible with destinations, the only issue is that I'm on a tight budget of about $4000 including flights.

Hi Cee,

Well $4000 is bit short to cover Bali and India with flights. But a decent budgetary planing of destination can help you lot. Instead of Bali you visit Thailand which quite cheaper and nice place.

In India you can visit -

  • Assam - Kaziranga National Park
  • Madhya Pradesh - Pench National Park
  • Gujarat
  • Maharashtra - Mahabaleshwar and Mumbai

To travel inside India use Indian Railway which is bit cheap. Read destination blog such as -snip- which have decent step by step details of places whihc help you lot.

Thanks

Hey, thanks for your reply. Yeah, I'm cutting it short money-wise! Flights alone are nearly $3000 from Australia to Bali to India and then to Dublin. I really want to do Bali so I might try to save a little more so I can do both trips.
Thanks for the advice on India sight seeing stuff

Hey,
I'm from England and am travelling starting from March when I fly to Auz!
Sounds like youre going to be doing great things!
I am travelling from Australia and doing South East Asia from the 18th April onwards.. not making it all the way to India, but quite intreseted in Bali, I fly to Singapore and making my way from there.. maybe you might be on a similar route whilst making your way to India?
Sophiex

I would love to do Singapore but I don't think I can afford three trips. I have managed to get flights and tours for just under $4,000 so I am right on budget! I'm hoping to do Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos on my way back to Australia in September. I would also love to see Borneo in Indonesia!
I hope you have a great time on your travels and enjoy Bali and Singapore!
