If i buy a car that is registered in another state to what i am in, even if there is 5 months rego left, do i have to register the car i buy in the state i am currently in?
No, if you get asked just tell them you're travelling. If you're moving interstate then youre supposed to register it in that state but you can wait until the rego runs out.
