Add travel Planner Bookmarklet to my Ipad bookmarks

I can't drag the icon to my bookmarks bar on my iPad. I have added the link to the page with the icon. When i open it to add a web page, nothing is added to my plan. What am I missing?

Adding bookmarks on an iPad is problematic. You can do it, but it's a bit roundabout.

1. Add this page as a bookmark
2. Copy this javascript:

javascript:void((function(){var jsCode = document.createElement('script');jsCode.setAttribute('type','text/javascript');jsCode.setAttribute('charset','UTF-8');jsCode.setAttribute('src','//d1a1o5o5g1yic5.cloudfront.net/js/bookmarklet.js?r='+Math.random()*99999999);document.body.appendChild(jsCode)})());

3. Go to your bookmarks and tap "edit". Then tap the new bookmark you just made of this page.
4. Edit the name and paste the Javascript in the field for the URL.
5. Done.

It's not quite as simple, but it will give you the ability to add bookmarks from your iPad. Hope it helps!

UPDATE:

For anyone using an iPad or iPhone with iOS7, any Safari bookmarks from your desktop/laptop are automatically added to your mobile device's bookmarks under Favourites.

You can then move the bookmark into the main bookmarks list for easier saving and note making while browsing.
