Hello Travellerspoint staffers! Can someone please tell my why my list of countries shows "Afghanistan" as a country I've been to? The map of my travels rightly shows Pakistan and India and there are three airflight lines over Afghanistan but I've never actually stopped there. is it a glitch in the system that can be fixed of should I buy a ticket to Afghanistan as my next trip? Cheers
There is a bug that sometimes misallocates countries to the stop. The location itself is accurate, but in the background it gets a big err.. confused. Because this is largely caused due to issues with the APIs we tie into (Google and Yahoo), for now the easiest solution is to just fix it manually when it comes up. I've just done this for you and now Afghanistan is not showing.
You'll have to buy that ticket if you want to bring it back
