I think the USA would be the most difficult place to find this kind of volunteer work because of the long list of prerequisite requirements in place for anything child-related. Now, if you wanted to work with the elderly, I'm sure you'd have few if any problems.
I see! So you think working with the elderly or even adults, I would have a better chance? I suppose any care experience abroad would be good to add to my experiences.
Obviously with wanting to go on and do children's nursing, children based care would be my preference but if it becomes impossible I would still love to do any sort of care at all!
