Hi Kate, sorry for the delayed answer. This is most likely due to test files at the time being more likely to have useful titles in the caption rather than the name field.
Your mapping does seem to make a lot more sense though. Out of curiosity, which local editor are you using to add this data to your photos?

I typically use Adobe Ligtroom to add my Metadata... then I upload to Flickr... and cause this is my main Photo Sharing side... I apply my metadata so Flickr can map it nicely.
The mapping I describe is the mapping Flickr does after uploading.
When I upload the same pictures to TP ... the title has gone and the description is in the Title :-) I manually add the metadata through your web editor...
Perhaps the best idea might be to implement not a direct mapping...
Perhaps for the "Title" you can try to find a vlaue with:
{Title|Headline|Caption}
And for the description:
{Caption}

Yes, that sounds like a good option. If the title is not provided then fall back to the caption. If the title IS provided them use that as the actual title. I'll go ahead and get this fix in place now!
Hi Kate, can you try one of your images again? It should work with the right metadata now. I'm ignoring Headline at the moment - that seems to be somewhere in between title and description and not really relevant in our case.
