The map at the top of my blog stubbornly insists on starring my current location as where I was on the 12th February (Dubai) rather than where my trip ended on the 12th June (i.e. London). The only way I can get it to show my current location correctly is to edit the departure date on my final stop in London to some date in the future. I have been trying to correct this by adding and deleting stops for months but it doesn't seem to make any difference and it is very frustrating - do I have to delete all my stops and start my again? Would this make a difference? The actual map of my trip works correctly, it's only when it is displayed at the top of my blog it is wrongly saying my current location is Dubai.
I had a look into this and found a clear bug that was causing it to not highlight the right one. I've updated the code and it is now "starring" London as your last stop.
Hi Peter, that's great news, thanks a lot . However there does seem to have been an unforeseen consequence of the fix in that I've now lost the green pin on 11 of the 17 stops on my map as displayed at the top of my blog. Again the actual map of my trip is working correctly.
