I like to travel for the unknown. Those different experiences that you can't get at home. It also makes you appreciate home more, which is nice. But the food, the scenery, the culture and the experiences are my favorite! The anticipation of visiting somewhere you've never been is amazing! At the end of the day I travel for the adventure!!!!!

I travel to experience the place I've never been to before. Maybe I just want to explore other countries to get to know their culture background and food.
I like to think that travelling is about taking off the blinkers on your life.
It's so easy to get caught up in the things that are right in front of you the whole time like work and paying bills that sometimes you forget that there's so much more to life.
Taking the time to look up and look around is what travelling is about. Seeing the natural wonders of the world or talking to locals in far flung places helps put your own life in perspective.
For me that's what life should be about - new horizons, new experiences, new places, new people, new ideas, new philosophies.
I recently realised that I wasn't happy with the life I was leading, I had a good job with prospects, a decent wage & a stable relationship........ I was living an average normal life.
But...........
I'm now of the mind that although these things covered a lot of bases, I found them ultimately unfulfilling, I don't want to spend more than half of my life working to enjoy a small percentage of it, living a life that has already been pre determined by money, expectation & stability ..........
So I bought a backpack sold all my possessions, quit my job, broke up with my girlfriend & am setting off to see what the rest of the world has to offer someone willing to take a chance on living life ........

Ur story seems interesting . I feel same lifes kind of mundane following the same thing daily. Its better we take chances and go on. Great journey ahead for you.Keep me updated .

yea trying different food is fun.......... best advantage of travelling.
It is a change, even going back to places I have visited more than a dozen times before.
