Is there an option to display on the map only places visited but without the connecting lines ?
Yeah if you make sepereate trips and only add the places you visited. you will have to do it one by one tho.
Yeah, this is not really how our mapping system is set up. There are other mapping systems out there which show simple pins on a map without lines or organised into trips. You might be better off using one of those.
Similarly, if you choose a method of "boat", it still draws a straight line between ports, rather than going around the coast. Makes my cruise plan look a bit odd!
Having the boat lines avoid land would indeed be a nice addition
Unfortunately the best I can suggest right now is to just add some extra stops in the ocean to draw a route that doesn't that stays in the sea. Downside of course is the extra stops which are not really stops at all.
