I fly into Melbourne on the 18th December for almost 4 weeks. Looking for anyone that will be doing the East Coast or perhaps Darwin / Alice Springs. Happy to travel on my own but it's always nice to have a bit of company along the way.
Hey! I'll be in Oz from end of November till mid Jan. I was planning on starting in Cairns and working my way down to Sydney for NYE. Maybe we could meet somewhere half way!?
That sounds like really good idea! Do you know where abouts you will be around the time I get to australia? Have you booked accommodation in Sydney for new years. I would love to do that it I heard it's really difficult to get accommodation over New Years for short stays.
Around that time I think I'll be in Brisbane but don't have any concrete plans! I've only booked my NYE accommodation - there's a little town near Manly called Collaroy and they have a YHA there called Sydney Beach House (it's really nice, stayed there last year!) it's about 20 mins by bus to the city and they provide transport for NYE. I only booked my accommodation last week so they should still have rooms available!
Thanks, I will take a look. How many nights have you booked in Sydney? It's one place that I havent managed to get to before (been to Australia a few times). Are you travelling on your own at the moment then?
Ummm at the mo I've only booked 4 nights over NYE but I plan to be there for 2 weeks. I'll be travelling on my own but only in Oz for 6 weeks! That's the only travelling I'm doing!
