Hi All!
That is a really a good idea sir.
you must find a local accommodation than western hotels to have a memorable trip.
But, what secrets you are talking about. If you want to explore real india then you'll have to make some local friends over there
Hello Jacob, If you want to view traditional India, you can go to Madurai , a town with 3000+ years history, and then you can view the 3 oceans meeting point Kanyakumari.
If you want an adventurous trip you can go to haunted historical town of and reach the narrow land strip where you can feel breeze from 3 sides and a touch of water from 3 different oceans at same time.
Wikepedia link about Dhanushkodi :
I would not advice a local accommodation especially in northern India , with concern to safety, Apart from that you will have nice trip visiting India.

andrewsmith03 Yes I figured having friends over there would be extremely useful! A hard task when the only way to do it is online! But I shall have to keep trying.
In terms of specific secrets, resteraunts in any of the mentioned places, and most of all, the thing I would like most but am struggling to find, a quite reserved, hidden beach with a beach hut on it!
Its really a amazing schedule you have planned in the places you have chosen the visit a really very awesome from the point of view a seeing real India.
I think you have made a best plan to explore real India.Best luck for your traveling and enjoy this amazing country.
Hi ,
Kerala: close to Periyar, you should see wild asian elephants !
Tamil Nadu: don't miss the fabulous temple-cities of Madurai and Tiruchirapalli. I also loved the city of Karaikudi with its deserted palaces.
