So, I'm travelling around the world kind of and I have no idea how much money I need to take with me?! I'm travelling to Dubai for a few days, Australia I'm travelling around for a bit, then aiming to work and live somewhere I'm thinking either Melbourne or Brisbane but I don't know how much I'm going to need for living.. then I'm travelling on a tour around New Zealand and a tour around Fiji, Then doing a tour across America.
1.) You failed to mention how long you're planning to travel.
2.) You're going to some of the most expensive major destinations possible so even travelling carefully you're going to need a fair amount of dough, especially since you're a first timer. Costs will of course vary wildly depending on your travel style.
3.) Lastly, when you say you're "travelling on a tour" around New Zealand, Fiji and the US is it an organized one, or are you using the phrase to mean independent travel?
It would also help to post where you're from so people could compare costs in your own country to costs in your expensive destinations, Australia/New Zealand/USA...
Good luck with your research.
Cheers,
Terry

Hey sorry new to this forum stuff didn't even occur to me to put that stuff. But I'm from the UK and yeah after doing my research I realise I've gone for the expensive places which is a bit annoying. But this is my rough travelling time:
Dubai - 2 days
Australia - travelling for 3 months then working for the rest of the year
New Zealand - 24 days
Fiji - 6 days
America - 1 month
When I say tour I mean an organised tour in Fiji and America they have accommodation included and a few meals but New Zealand is an organised tour but you pay for the accommodation as you go round.
Thanks
