Schengen Visa extension

Hi fellow travellers,

As usual with almost all questions about Visas you fail to mention the most important piece of information before anyone can help you: What is your nationality?

Cheers,
Terry

Thanks for the reply Terry. It's Chinese passport and currently residing in Australia.

According to this http://www.schengenvisitorvisa.com/#!schengen-visa-categories/c14xp, there's also a grace period of 15 days? So the maximum stay I can have is 30 days without getting deported?

Have a look here:

Alethia really, really knows her stuff. Direct further questions directly to her. She's a fabulous resource.

Good luck.

Cheers,
Terry

Thanks Terry, I just registered a new account there but couldn't post comments on that forum or find anyway to pm Alethia...

If you are reading here, Alethia, the reason I got only 15 days was because I only submitted an itinerary of 15 days. I thought it's a flat 90-day visa and don't want to make too many bookings that I might cancel as I research more and more into my trip. It completely surprised me that they only gave me 15 days to match the itinerary without any flexibility. Which country is most likely to extend it if possible? I haven't been to Europe before, so any of them are worth visiting for me at this stage. Additionally, I do have friends who are French citizens that will be able to give me invitations and what not to help with the visa.

Ah it lets me comment now after confirming email address. I'll post it there.

Have fun and good luck.

Cheers,
Terry
