I would like to fly out from singapore and straight to malaysia.
Singapore is just that little bit too expensive for me and not much to do.
Anyone know if flight or bus or what kind of travel is the best, easiest and cheapest?
Open for any suggestions.
If you mean fly from Singapore to Malaysia you can. There is a train from Singapore to KL too. You can even use a train from Singapore all the way to Hat Yai in Thailand. And from there all the way to the top of Thailand. Penang (near Butterworth train stop) is cheaper than KL.
Yes, there are buses to Malaysia from Singapore too.

Bus can take ages. From what I know, there are no train anymore linking SG to MY.
Take the flight, if you book in advance, it can cost 30-50 USD one way. TigerAir is popular. So are AirAsia, Firefly, JetsStar Asia, SilkAir, Singapore Airlines, Malaysia
Just look up the airlines at Singapore Changi Airport on Wikipedia:

Then run for the sites and check all their fares.
Flight takes about an hour, it's cheap with low cost airlines.
Buses will eat 4-5 or even 6 hours of your time. Traffic gets congested, it can be time-consuming at the border.

Karazyal is correct. There still is a train from Singapore to KL. However, flights connecting the two cities are relatively inexpensive; and quicker. But I prefer the train. I boarded last year at KL Sentral, where there is a 50 percent fare reduction for those at least 60 years of age (show your passport). The discounted First Class (Premier) fare was 34 ringgit, equivalent to the full second-class fare. First Class passengers get to wait in their own second-floor lounge (with refreshments) at KL Sentral. The train arrives at Singapore Woodlands, where you can take a public transportation to wherever you are going. Seat61.com is an excellent resource for fervent rail travelers like me.
